♥ 0 | I have a few paper hardback (*non-leather*) books which are emitting a foul or musty odor. These were purchased second hand. Any suggestion on how I can remove the odor? I came across the suggestion that I could put them in a sealed container with baking soda and that would eventually remove the odor, but after the olive oil experience I thought I had better check here once. Private answer Always happy to help! I have a free course for smelly books: https://saveyourbooks.com/course/how-to-deodorize-smelly-books/ You might also like this one: https://saveyourbooks.com/course/moldy-book/ In short. Baking soda is ok but not if you immerse your book in it! Marked as spam |
