Recommendations for archival gilt repair pen

I did a quick search on the site but could not find the video that may answer my question.  What do you recommend to touch up the gilt stamping on early 20th century cloth bindings?  Also, is there a product that can be used to restore the luster of the gilt?

I know I included some tips in one or two courses. I searched just now and couldn't find it. If anyone knows where it is please let me know! Meanwhile, what is best is to use Shell Gold with a fine tip "liner" brush. You can buy it through and you only need a tiny bit. This is pretty darn expensive though! Another way is to get a gold pen and make a puddle with the ink and use the same sort of liner brush to apply it. Never try to apply a gold ink pen directly to a book! Disaster awaits.
