Posted by | Private answer Leather is an organic substance that will deteriorate over time no matter what is done to it. The way it was tanned in the first place is the main determining factor. The other factors have to do with it's storage and care. A stable climate goes a long way. Avoid oily leather dressings. Many times doing nothing to leather is the exact right thing.
