So, I bought a jar of Nori paste. It seems like such a luxury to have ready-made paste! And I was thinking it would be so great to have paste that didn’t go mouldy after a few days. But I just noticed the label on the Nori paste does suggest refrigeration. Is that absolutely necessary? Does it go bad? If so, how long before it goes off?

I have never had it go bad without refrigeration. I think the key is to keep the main container clean. Remove some paste to use with a clean utensil and close it up so mold or other contaminants can's get in. And refreigeration will not hurt it so there is that too. :)
