Inset Panel (from lesson 2-202)

0

Dear Classmates,

In Lesson 2-202 (Make a New Cloth Spine for Book with Inner Hinges Intact) a reference to a blog-post is made. In the lesson labels are discussed and how they appear to float on (Canapetta Italian linen cloth and you can fix this problem by making an inset panel. Where can I find this blog-post?

Thank you.

I changed my format and dropped the blog posts. Now I will have to look through them. I turned most of them into courses. This is the trouble with doing anything in any format. Meanwhile...

The key is to have a thick spine liner for the cover and leave a space for the label to sit in.  You can do this with a hollow, but if you don't attach the liner to a hollow, then you will have to have a double think liner so that the label isn't floating.

I hope that makes some sense. Apparently I need to do another lesson on labels!
