| ♥ 0 | Ah, kids books. How they are made so weak….Pics show a hard bound book with sewn signatures. Both hinges AND spine are completely intact!! BUT, as shown, the first signature is still attached but very loose. And two other areas have split or pulled away from the mull/super. | Private answer I understand you are looking for a public library repair. Since a major overhaul aka a re-case (for this book) is out of the question for now, I can recommend some document repair tape. It is reversible with solvents so if the book ever made it to be overhauled none of the original material would be damaged. Glue won't help in this instance but archival document repair tape can bridge the gap and keep the pages from falling out. Marked as spam  Posted by Sophia S.W.
