Hi, I am so grateful to have found your material on YouTube!
There is an older book, which I think belonged to a great-great- grandfather (1863), that I have wanted to repair.
The Fairy Tale Book Repair series seems just right- however, I wanted to make sure I’m on the right track, as this is all new to me.
The idea is to repair nicely and give as a gift to our Pastor, but I’ll be honest too- it’s such a cool book I might have to enjoy it first.
Attached are some photos- as you can see there are a few bits of the outer spine left, and the inside liners on the boards are pretty. The pages are mostly intact, folded and appears to be sewn together.
Would you recommend I follow as you did for the Fairy Tale repair, or a different method?
Thank you for any insight you are able to provide,
Meredith Good
