Print to Sew Version of Book Restoration Unveiled
What do you get with the print to sew version? You get 19 pdf downloads. 17 of the downloads are the individual signatures consisting of images for 4 double-sided 8.5 by 11″ pages. These you will print double-sided using whatever printer you like. The other two downloads are photos of the front and rear covers. You can use them for the covers if you like or not.
Then you will fold each signature, sew as you like, then bind as you like. You will be able to download the pdfs 5 times (just in case that part goes wrong). This is the same thing as a book “in-sheets” except you have to print it yourself.
I do not have instructions available to bind the book. I expect I may provide this someday, but meanwhile I am assuming you have your own instructions. There are certainly many available online. (If anyone wants to offer their hard-cover copies for sale on my website I will consider such a thing so contact me!)
The Print to Sew version is slightly smaller than the paperback version which is 6 x 9 inches. It is smaller in order to fit onto standard 8.5 by 11 inch paper. That sort of paper is typically short grain and so should work perfectly for your book. The quality of the printing and paper is all up to you!
